Change your story. Change your life

Workshop Overview

Donors want to know their gifts made an impact and they like to know how. The goodness of their hearts needs the reassurance in unique, interesting, and compelling ways. Statistics and charts can shock and awe them for a brief moment and the effect wears off pretty quickly. All the research and fancy presentations rarely compels them to take further action towards the cause you are working for.

Connecting with donors and helping them appreciate the cause you support calls for appealing to their emotions. An emotional appeal happens only through a powerful medium like a story; a story about how their donation made a difference in the life of someone. Storytelling gets to the heart of the donor and assures them their contribution made a tangible difference in the life of a person. Through stories donors get to see the work you put in, how it benefited the needy, and moves them to take further action.

Good storytelling is at the heart of every volunteer, donor, and well-wisher of your non-profit. Everyone in the non-profit organization need to become good storytellers and be able to communicate their cause and purpose in intentional, authentic, and meaningful ways.

This workshop will help the non-profit organization find its stories, structure them into appealing instruments, and use them in context-appropriate ways and medium to tell the world the difference you are making.
